This Blender Add-On does essentially one thing. It lets you composite your Movie Strips from the VSE in Blender.
Behind the scenes, it sends a movie strip to a new scene, sets up the base compositor node network, and replaces the original movie strip with a scene strip. Once installed, it can be accessed from the Strip menu or the right click context menu from Blender's VSE.

Re: Blender Movie Strip to Compositor Scene Add-On
Your addon is literally exactly what ive been looking for !!! The only issue is that i get an error when trying to install in on Version 4.2. Can you help with that at all?
actually to be clear, here is a screencast of the error. When flick back & forth from the vse and the compositor, the effect reset back to default each time. Im using the blender 4.2.0
i upgraded to 4.2.1 but the issue is still there, see here

Re: Blender Movie Strip to Compositor Scene Add-On
The add-on creates a new scene named similar to your movie clip. Change the scene in the compositor, make any adjustments, then change back to your video editing scene in the VSE.gavner wrote: ↑2024.10.05 01:31 Your addon is literally exactly what ive been looking for !!!
